· June 19, 2019 ·

A Marine veteran who dreamed of becoming a police officer was gunned down three years ago Wednesday while working as a security guard at an Aurora marijuana dispensary. The case has never been solved even though authorities are offering $55,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of two suspects. · April 19, 2021 ·

The UK government will look into the national security implications of US group Nvidia 's purchase of British chip designer ARM Holdings, it said on Monday, putting a question mark over the $40 billion deal. Digital minister Oliver Dowden said on Monday he had issued a so-called "intervention notice" over the sale of ARM by Japan's SoftBank to Nvidia. "As a next step and to help me gather the relevant information, the UK's independent competition authority will now prepare a report on the implications of the transaction, which will help inform any further decisions," he said. Nvidia said it did not believe the deal posed any material national security issues. "We will continue to work closely with the British authorities, as we have done since the announcement of this deal," said Nvidia, the biggest U.S. chip company by market capitalisation. ARM is a major player in global semiconductors, a sector that is fundamental to technologies from artificial intelligence and … [Read more...] about UK to look into Nvidia’s ARM deal for security implications

close Video Biden administration ‘out of touch’ on the border crisis: Texas Gov. Abbott Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on the Biden administration facing backlash over border policies. President Joe Biden can deny it all he wants, but the reality is we have a crisis at our southern border. I saw it with my own eyes last month when I visited the U.S.-Mexico border in Texas. The surge of unaccompanied minors , the subpar living conditions of migrants, and the state of an overworked and overwhelmed Border Patrol have been direct consequences of the Biden administration’s failed policies. This was never supposed to happen under Biden’s watch. As a candidate, he promised the American people that he would " secure our border while ensuring the dignity of migrants." As president, he has done neither.
