Maharashtra issues fresh COVID guidelines: Groceries, essential shops to open from 7 am to 11 am

Mumbai: In view of the rising cases of COVID-19, the Maharashtra government on Tuesday (April 20) further toughened the pandemic norms. It has directed that all shops selling grocery items, vegetables, fruits, bakery, etc will be allowed to remain open from 7 am to 11 am from April 20. Under its latest order, the state government has reduced the hours for the shops selling essential items. However, the facility of home delivery from these shops will continue from 7 am till 8 pm. According to Union Health Ministry, ten states, including Maharashtra , Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Karnataka, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Rajasthan account for77.67 per cent of the new COVID-19 infections reported in a day. World order under serious stress, EAM S Jaishankar tells UNSC

New Delhi : External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Monday (April 19, 2021) told the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) that the world order built 'following the Second World War is under serious stress' and highlighted how 'security challenges' have also changed. Crypto-Stealing Malware Starts Targeting Apple’s M1 Macs

Researchers have discovered that the XCSSET malware has started targeting M1-equipped Macs via Xcode, The Hacker News reported Monday and has been updated to compromise accounts on various cryptocurrency trading platforms. Xcode is the integrated development environment (IDE) used to make apps for the iPhone, iPad, and other Apple hardware. Even if a cross-platform framework is used to develop a particular app, it must pass through Xcode to reach those platforms. That means XCCSET is limiting itself to technically savvy people who, if we had to guess, would be more likely to own cryptocurrency than the average Mac owner. COVID-19 measures eased for travellers from Hong Kong, UK, South Africa and vaccinated people in official delegations: MOH

SINGAPORE: Singapore will ease COVID-19 border measures for travellers arriving from Hong Kong, the United Kingdom and South Africa after taking into account the current outbreak situation in these places. To facilitate "critical and essential" official travel, a stringent testing and self-isolation regime will also be introduced for fully vaccinated people in official delegations travelling to higher-risk destinations, said the Ministry of Health (MOH). These were part of updates to Singapore's border measures announced on Tuesday (Apr 20), which also included a tightening of restrictions for travellers from India given the "worsening situation" there.
