Phnom Penh (VNA) – Cambodia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, on December 1, issued a press release on the outcome of the 23rd ASEAN-EU Ministerial Meeting, taking into account progress in the sides’ cooperation, particularly their join efforts in COVID-19 prevention and control. Per the release, the meeting noted the progress of cooperation via the implementation of the ASEAN-EU Plan of Action for 2018 – 2022 and exchanged views on how both regions can enhance collaboration to further strengthen their partnership, and to address immediate common concern such as COVID-19 outbreaks and other public health emergencies, and post-pandemic economic recovery. Jakarta (VNA) – Senior officials from ASEAN and the European Union (EU) recently gathered virtually for the second EU-ASEAN High-Level Dialogue on Environment and Climate Change. During the dialogue, the EU and ASEAN discussed their cooperation on shared regional and global challenges related to the protection of the environment and the fight against climate change, as agreed in the Joint Statement of the 22nd ASEAN-EU Ministerial Meeting. Following the first meeting in July 2019, the second dialogue provided an opportunity for further exchange of experiences on environmental and climate goals, and promoting regional solutions for a green transition. Video conferencing and calls are here to stay and it’s no surprise to see players like Zoom, Microsoft and Google adding features to their platforms regularly. Microsoft has announced a bunch of calling features that will come to Teams soon. As per multiple online reports, Microsoft has made the Teams calling experience more streamlined as all elements — call history, contacts among others — in one single location. Microsoft has also added Apple CarPlay support to Teams. According to a report by VentureBeat, Microsoft is set to add features like transferring calls by early 2021 to teams. The transfer calls feature will allow users to move calls between mobile and desktop. The feature can come in handy if users need to change locations or devices to finish a particular call.
