Paramount Pictures is the latest studio to slash the 90-day theatrical release window. ViacomCBS recently announced that the films releasing with the studio will now arrive on Paramount+ after 45 days in theatres. The studio's upcoming releases include Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible 7 and Emily Blunt's A Quiet Place Part II. The announcement made on Wednesday (February 24) came after other studios like Universal Pictures and Warner Bros. reached similar agreements with theatre chains in the US. Warner Bros.' Warner Media has also opted for a hybrid release for its upcoming platform HBO Max, which will stream films alongside theatrical releases. A WOMAN who was allegedly beaten and strangled by a knife-wielding attacker was rescued after putting a “Call 911” sign on the window. James Vickers, 44, was arrested in Unity Township, Pennsylvania , on Saturday after a passerby spotted the message and alerted the police . Vickers is accused of “beating and strangling” his victim as she attempted to flee the house. Police said that officers engaged in a “brief struggle” with the suspect at the property, and also found “suspected methamphetamine and pills” in the house. He is being held in the Westmoreland County Jail on drug, assault , and strangulation charges. LATROBE, Pa. (AP) — A woman’s hand-scrawled “Call 911” sign in the window of a Pennsylvania home led to the arrest of her boyfriend. State troopers said they found a “visibly distraught” woman after someone who saw the sign called state police to the Westmoreland County home over the weekend.
