KARACHI: PTI MPAs from Sindh on Wednesday recreated the "Pawri Hori Hai" video, featuring their 'disgruntled' MPA Karim Bakhsh Gabol in it as well. The video was to mock the PPP, which according to the PTI, had kidnapped Gabol and attempted to coerce him into voting against the PTI in the Senate polls. "This is me, these are our MPAs and this is — Karim bhai," Qureshi says as Gabol emerges from behind the other MPAs and they all shout with joy. A day earlier, Gabol could be seen running frantically outside the Sindh Assembly, with PTI MPA Khurram Sher Zaman and Raja Azhar get into a car and drive away from the assembly. The PTI has alleged that the Sindh government had kidnapped Gabol and coerced him to secure his vote in the Senate elections, adding that the party's MPAs had 'recovered' him. KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad on Tuesday (Jul 23) dismissed suggestions that he was defending Economic Affairs Minister Azmin Ali over a viral sex video scandal . Speaking to reporters after launching a national financial literary strategy, Dr Mahathir stated that he did not want to get caught up in what he described as "dirty" politics. “I’m not defending him (Mohamed Azmin). I’m just saying that dirty kinds of politics like that will not trap me into being part of it,” he stated. “Obviously, somebody is trying to make use of me to achieve their purpose. KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysians want to know who is behind the dissemination of a viral sex video implicating a Cabinet minister , Parti Keadilan Rakyat’s (PKR) president Anwar Ibrahim said on Tuesday (Jul 16). This came after the police arrested six people at the weekend, with PKR members said to be among them. Speaking at a press conference in parliament, Mr Anwar said: “The investigations are under the purview of the police. There are two phases: Is the video genuine and who was the one who spread it." “The people want to know these two aspects,” he was quoted as saying by the Star . Meanwhile, the police said they are widening the investigation. This will include looking into the possible involvement of a Selangor state assemblyman.
