Currently being showcased at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, the Asterion concept is Lamborghini's first ever plug-in hybrid vehicle which they describe as being a "technology demonstrator", without any intentions to come out with a production version of the "hyper cruiser." The company has taken the video game-like route to explain how the hybrid system works, a setup which comprises the Huracan-sourced 610 HP naturally aspirated V10 5.2-liter engine and three electric motors providing an additional 300 HP to enable the vehicle develop a combined output of 910 HP (669 kW). Coronavirus: UK hospital deaths reach 14,576 after 847 more patients die

Another 847 people have died with coronavirus in UK hospitals, taking the nationwide total beyond 14,000. The Department of Health announced the latest increase, with 14,576 people with COVID-19 - the disease caused by coronavirus - now confirmed to have died in hospital across the four home nations. The number of tests for the illness has also risen by 21,328 to 438,991, although this includes some people being tested more than once. There have now been 108,692 positive tests in the UK. Health authorities in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland also record their own daily figures, which may not tally with the government's total as they collate their numbers at different times throughout the day. Here's the bad news, musicians. Illegitimate file downloading has definitely hurt the legal sale of your content, a recent academic paper confirms. This is particularly true for very popular music groups. But there's also good news—at least for smaller bands. The widespread dissemination of MP3 files over the 'Net has encouraged a "broader awareness" of lower-profile musicians, something that may have paid off for them through more concert ticket sales. "File-sharing may increase awareness of smaller, more obscure artists and their music by making the music available from more sources and at a much lower cost (or for free in the case of illegal file-sharing)," three scholars conclude. This has probably translated into more interest and boosted demand for their live concert appearances.
