The administration of Khanh Hoa province has initiated plans to put on a low-range 15-minute firework display at 2/4 Square in Nha Trang city and Hon Tre island, both of which will take place at 9:30 p.m. on May 1. Elsewhere, the local authorities of Hai Phong city have announced that they will set off fireworks which are set to last 15 minutes at the closing ceremony of the 2021 Hoa Phuong Do (flamboyant red), festival on May 13. Furthermore, the skies above the northern province of Quang Ninh will be lit up by fireworks in three places on April 30, with events held in Cam Pha city, Tuan Chau tourism complex, and Dong Trieu town to mark the occasion of the 2021 Ha Long cultural week. ANNAPOLIS, MD - Ahead of this week’s White House Leaders Summit on Climate, the United States is reaffirming fighting climate change as a top foreign policy priority, as it hopes to drive a green energy revolution. Chinese President Xi Jinping is among the 40 world leaders invited to attend the climate summit this week. Preparation is under way to invite Xi to make a keynote speech at the summit, according to diplomatic sources. On Monday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken warned that the U.S. lags China in developing renewable energy innovations. “Right now, we’re falling behind. China is the largest producer and exporter of solar panels, wind turbines, batteries and electric vehicles.
