Angara only new face; CM dumps Nagesh, appoints him head of a corporation Amid murmurs of dissent, Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on Wednesday expanded his ministry by inducting seven new legislators while dropping one Minister. Of the seven inducted, six were former ministers, while S Angara is a first-timer. The CM, however, dropped Excise Minister H Nagesh. With the induction of seven Ministers, the strength of the Cabinet has increased from 28 to 34. Besides the two turncoats - MTB Nagaraj and R Shankar, the CM also inducted CP Yogeshwar who is said to have played a role in the formation of the present BJP government by ousting the Congress-JD(S) coalition dispensation. Another turncoat Muniratna, however, was left out as BJP high command did not clear his name for the Cabinet berth. Yediyurappa also managed to get a Cabinet berth for his loyalist Aravind Limbavali.
