There is good news for those suffering from skin ailments such as psoriasis and eczema: the University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS),Panjab University,has come out with a new medicine. It was formulated by a group of researchers,including two professors who worked as principal investigator and co-investigator and 10 research scholars for over five years. After successful clinical trials at PGIMER,the medicine has been recently test launched by a Gurgaon-based pharmaceutical company and would be soon formally launched for commercial application. With the help of technology by which drug molecules were hosted within the nano-structured lipoidal carrier systems,a desired delivery to the diseased site of psoriasis and other skin diseases like eczema was achieved. If you live in Denver and you're celebrating 420, the weed-smoker's holiday, the burger chain Carl's Jr. has just the thing for your inevitable munchies. The restaurant is debuting a CBD-infused burger, to be sold for $4.20, on Saturday, April 20 (4/20), at a single restaurant in Denver. The burger, which has been named Rocky Mountain High: CheeseBurger Delight, consists of two beef patties, topped with pickled jalapeños, pepper jack cheese, fries and CBD-infused Santa Fe Sauce. Carl's Jr. is the first major fast-food chain to put CBD on its menu. But if you think you're going to get blazed off a cheeseburger, bad news: CBD is a non-psychoactive compound in hemp. It's often called the "winter vomiting bug", but you can catch Norovirus alll year round - even during the heatwave. Norovirus is a 'very unpleasant' stomach bug that causes vomiting and diarrhoea and lasts for two days. There have been numerous reports of the bug - in Devon, Cornwall, Gloucestershire, the West Midlands, Greater Manchester, Suffolk, Lincolnshire, North Wales and South Wales. One woman from Bury told Mirror Online she and her four-year-old have been struck down by the bug along with three other friends and their families. Another reader, from Coventry, added: "Six-month-old daughter started with outrageous screaming for 3 days this including diarrhoea and temperature now covered with a rash. "Husband had to have day off work due to vomiting yesterday, he said his never felt pain like it in his stomach."
