While Nubia’s earlier attempts at smartphones might not have caught the attention of everyone, the company seems to have turned that around by getting into the development of gaming handsets, such as the Nubia Red Magic Mars which we were very impressed with during our hands-on with the device. The company is set to launch another gaming smartphone soon in the form of the Red Magic 3, and now thanks to details confirmed by the company’s general manager Ni Fei, we now know what to expect, and boy does it sound like it is shaping up to be one heck of a smartphone. Starting with some of the base features, as expected of a phone in this day and age, it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset. It will also be accompanied by an eye-watering 12GB of RAM (overkill much?), and while its display size is unconfirmed, it was suggested that it will have a refresh rate higher than most gaming PCs.
