Parents are being warned to be aware of a string of social media challenges which pose a real threat to their children. Youngsters intent on gaining more followers than their real-life mates are filming themselves taking part in these crazes and posting the videos online or simply sharing them with their friends. Some of the pranks have been deemed so dangerous YouTube has vowed to take down any footage of them, and others have seen doctors pleading with children not to take part. Here are three of the most dangerous social media crazes of the year so far: Condom snorting The challenge sees children and young adults attempting to snort a condom up their nose. And parents are being warned to watch out as the odd test could become a choking hazard for those taking part.
