That little black dress! Jessica Casanova had the best senior prom ever thanks to actress Gina Rodriguez, who let the teen borrow a gown she wore to the Golden Globes. Casanova, 17, of Buffalo, N.Y., posted a photo on social media of herself wearing Rodriguez’s black Badgley Mischka dress from 2015’s awards show. Rodriguez, 31, won her first Golden Globe that year for her role on CW’s hit show, “Jane the Virgin.” In January, the high school senior had asked the Hollywood star over Twitter if she could wear Rodriguez’s navy Zac Posen gown from this year’s Golden Globes. The actress, who has 193,000 followers on Twitter, replied that she didn’t own that dress. She then graciously offered up the hip-hugging black number. Rodriguez’s team sent the teen her dress in February and paid for Casanova’s alterations, according to the Associated Press. Casanova, 17, receives a corsage from Cohen in Buffalo, N.Y. on Thursday.
